Beloved Las Vegas show dog Mr Piffles dies before historic performance with his clone

Mr Piffles, a beloved Las Vegas show dog, has died just before his retirement performance alongside his clone. The Chihuahua, known for his magic act with Piff the Magic Dragon, passed away at nearly 17 years old. A special ceremony will honor Mr Piffles today with the opening of The Mr Piffles Magical Playground at the Flamingo Hotel. The area will feature a water feature in his likeness, celebrating his legacy. Mr Piffles was set to make history as the first performer to share a stage with his clone, Fortune. The clone was created using DNA and trained to take over after Mr Piffles' retirement from a successful 15-year career.
