Mikey Keene transfers to Michigan from Fresno State for 2025 season

Quarterback Mikey Keene has announced his transfer to the Michigan Wolverines for the 2025 season. Previously at Fresno State, he is moving to his third college program after also playing for UCF. Keene has impressive stats, throwing for 5,868 yards and 42 touchdowns in his two seasons at Fresno State. However, he also had double-digit interceptions in both seasons, raising some concerns. Michigan struggled with quarterback performance in 2024, leading to the need for an experienced player like Keene. The team is also considering incoming freshmen Bryce Underwood and Jadyn Davis for future seasons.
