Ten arrested in Philippines for online sale of illegal firecrackers
The Philippine National Police's Anti-Cybercrime Group has arrested 10 people for selling illegal firecrackers online. This follows eight operations from December 6 to 26, resulting in the seizure of illegal firecrackers valued at P76,400. In a recent operation on December 23, two suspects were arrested in Pampanga while selling firecrackers on Facebook. Police confiscated items worth around P60,000 from them, including various types of firecrackers. The PNP has warned store owners against selling illegal firecrackers, stating that they may face permit cancellations and confiscation of their merchandise.
