14 candidates confirmed in P.E.I. for federal election

A federal election in Canada has officially begun, with 14 candidates confirmed in Prince Edward Island. Liberal Leader Mark Carney asked Governor General Mary Simon to dissolve Parliament, which started the election process. Canadians will vote on April 28. To help voters understand who is running, CBC P.E.I. has created a list of candidates for each of the province's four ridings. The Conservative, Liberal, and New Democratic parties have candidates in all areas of the province. However, the Green Party did not have any candidates listed on its website as of Monday morning.
