17-year-old charged with murder of relative in Fall River
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting his 20-year-old relative, Jaleale Simmons, in their Fall River apartment on Saturday. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Simmons was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and later died at Saint Anne’s Hospital. The teen is scheduled for arraignment in Fall River District Court on Monday. Authorities stated the shooting appears to be an isolated incident, posing no ongoing threat to the community.
