19-year-old killed, two injured in Akola stabbing

A 19-year-old named Karan Dashrath Shitale was stabbed to death in Akola on Saturday evening. The attack happened in Jetwan Nagar while Karan was trying to help in a dispute near his home. He suffered serious injuries and later died at the District Government Hospital. Three other individuals were injured in the incident. They are Vaibhav Purushottam Shitale, also 19, and Vishal Ganesh Varote, 29. Both are currently receiving medical care. Police arrived quickly at the scene. One suspect has been arrested, but others are still on the run. Authorities have started a search operation and are analyzing CCTV footage to help identify those involved. Earlier this week, another violent incident occurred when a man was killed while trying to stop a chain-snatcher near the Railway Station.
