19-year-old student dies by suicide after bike argument

A 19-year-old engineering student was found dead in his home in Kolkata. Soham Sen was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan on Wednesday night after a disagreement with his mother over a new motorbike. The incident took place at the Merlin Ekta Apartment in Maniktala. His grandmother found him at around 8 PM. He was rushed to RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. According to police, Soham's parents were separated, and he lived with his mother. She was concerned about his safety and refused to buy him a new bike, which upset him. Soham was known to be an enthusiastic motorcycle rider. Authorities stated that there was no suicide note left behind. They are investigating the case as an unnatural death.
