20-year-old man shot dead over love triangle

A 20-year-old man was shot and killed in Lucena City, Quezon province, on Friday night, March 21. The police reported that the incident was linked to a “love triangle.” The victim, known as Carlos, was making burgers when the shooting occurred around 7:20 p.m. The suspect, identified as Mae, reportedly approached him and shot him twice with a handgun. After the shooting, she fled the scene on a motorcycle with an accomplice, leaving Carlos dead at the scene. Authorities believe the shooting may have been triggered by a past romantic conflict between Carlos and Mae. According to Carlos's aunt, he and Mae had a heated argument shortly before the attack, during which Mae allegedly threatened him. The police are currently investigating the case and have launched a manhunt for Mae.
