20-year-old motorcyclist dies in Arlington collision

A 20-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of S. Cooper Street and Wimbledon Drive. Police reported that the motorcyclist and a Honda Accord were involved in the collision. They believe the motorcycle was heading north on Cooper Street when it hit the sedan, which was turning from southbound Cooper to eastbound Wimbledon. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the motorcyclist unresponsive in the street. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda Accord stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police stated that the driver was not injured and is not facing any criminal charges at this time.
