20-year-old Vikas Kumar found dead in Chatra rooftop

A 20-year-old man named Vikas Kumar Bhuiyan was found dead on the rooftop of a house in Chatra district on Sunday. He was discovered on the roof of Nasim Ali's home, about 200 meters from his own house. Vikas had just returned from Mumbai, where he worked in a hotel, to celebrate Holi. Vikas was last seen at a local orchestra program on Saturday night. When he did not come home, his family started searching for him. Sadly, they found his body the next day. His mother, Kalwa Devi, has reported to the police that she believes he was murdered. In her complaint, she named several people, including Mohammad Imran Ansari's family and some local youths, as suspects. Following the discovery of Vikas's body, angry residents blocked a road in protest. They demanded action, but the blockade was cleared after officials promised to investigate. Police have already detained two young men based on CCTV footage reviewed from the area. Amit Kumar Gupta, the superintendent of police, indicated that the evidence suggests this may be a murder case. The investigation is ongoing.
