2018 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring now for sale
A rare car, the 2018 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring, is now for sale through RM Sotheby’s Private Sales. This one-of-a-kind vehicle is known as the "C52 Edition" and has traveled less than 11,600 kilometers since it was built. The Disco Volante pays tribute to the famous 1952 Alfa Romeo C52, a design celebrated for its influence. The car is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione chassis and was first showcased in 2012. It is believed that fewer than ten units were made, each tailored to the owner’s preferences. This particular model, finished in striking Rosso paint, features handcrafted aluminum bodywork. It includes classic Alfa Romeo details, such as specific badges and a unique front grille design. The rear window has been replaced with a sleek black panel to enhance its look. Inside, the car boasts a luxurious black leather interior with red highlights. The steering wheel is wrapped in brown leather, reflecting traditional wooden styling. Originally, the car had 6,300 km on its donor 8C, but that has increased by 5,200 km since then. The Alfa Romeo Disco Volante was introduced at the Concorso d’Eleganza Kyoto in 2018 and later participated in the Japanese segment of the Gumball 3000 rally. Interested buyers can request pricing details from RM Sotheby's for this unique vehicle.
