MG Motor India has launched the updated 2025 Comet EV, keeping its starting price at ₹7 lakh. This makes it one of the most affordable electric vehicles in India. The new model features several upgrades and is available in different variants priced between ₹7 lakh and ₹9.81 lakh. The 2025 Comet EV comes in multiple variants, including Executive, Excite, Excite Fast Charge, Exclusive, and Exclusive Fast Charge. Customers can also use MG's battery rental scheme to purchase the vehicle at a lower initial cost, ranging from ₹4.99 lakh to ₹7.80 lakh. While the base price for the Executive variant remains unchanged, there has been a small price increase for mid-range and top-end models. The Excite variant now costs ₹8.26 lakh, and the Excite Fast Charge is priced at ₹8.78 lakh, up by ₹6,000. The Exclusive and Exclusive Fast Charge variants have risen by ₹10,000, now priced at ₹9.36 lakh and ₹9.78 lakh, respectively. The Blackstorm Edition continues to be offered at ₹9.81 lakh. The 2025 model introduces new features across its variants. The Excite models now include power-folding mirrors and a rear parking camera. The Exclusive variants come with leatherette seats and a four-speaker audio system for added comfort. For enhanced safety, the vehicle now includes an electronic parking brake and electronic stability control. A new creep mode allows the car to move forward when the driver releases the brake, making driving smoother and easier.
