24-year-old from Detroit dies in Dearborn dirt bike crash

A 24-year-old man from Detroit died in a dirt bike crash in Dearborn on March 21. The accident happened around 2:58 p.m. near Tireman Avenue and Anthony Street, which is on the border between Dearborn and Detroit. When police arrived, they found the rider unresponsive with a head injury. Reports indicate that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. A private ambulance service, already at the scene, attempted lifesaving measures and transported him to a hospital in Metro Detroit. Sadly, the rider later died from his injuries. Investigators are looking into the incident, and early reports suggest that speed may have contributed to the crash.
