2.5 million students to take SSLC exams in Kittur
The SSLC examinations in Kittur Karnataka are set to begin on March 21 and will run until April 4. Around 2.5 lakh students will take these exams across nine educational districts. The students will have breaks between papers, which provides some relief during the 14-day period. There are a total of 3,817 high schools in the region, including government and private institutions. Of the 254,965 students in Class 10, there are slightly more boys than girls. The district of Belagavi has the highest number of candidates, while Uttara Kannada has the fewest. To ensure a smooth examination process, officials have prepared 773 centers across the districts. About 15,486 personnel will help manage the exams. 52 monitoring teams, made up of 156 officers, will oversee the process to ensure fairness. To prevent cheating, teachers will not supervise exams at their own schools. Instead, they will serve as invigilators at different centers. Students from the same school will also be spread out among various locations. In an effort to maintain integrity, live streaming of the exams will be introduced, along with CCTV monitoring. This is part of a competitive spirit among the districts, as they strive to improve their pass rates. Webcasting centers will be established in local government offices to monitor the examinations closely.
