312 bottles of smuggled liquor seized in Tamil Nadu

Officials from the Tamil Nadu Enforcement Bureau seized 312 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) on Thursday. The bottles were smuggled from Puducherry to Villupuram district. The enforcement team received a tip-off and stopped a van near the Perumbakkam check-post. During the search, they discovered a hidden chamber in the van designed to conceal illegal goods. The driver of the van was arrested on the spot. Officials said the liquor was intended for delivery to Chennai. Special teams are now working to locate the main smuggler, who is currently on the run.
