41-year-old woman found dead in Kolkata apartment

A 41-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment in Kolkata on Friday morning. The deceased woman, identified as Sreyoshi Ghosh, lived alone and had a history of mental health issues. Neighbors noticed a strong smell coming from her flat on Bijoygarh Road and called the police. When officers arrived, they forced open the door and discovered her body on the floor in a decomposed state. The apartment was cluttered with trash and plastic bottles. Residents mentioned that Sreyoshi often collected garbage from outside and kept it in her home. Authorities believe she may have died two days prior to the discovery. The body has been sent for an autopsy to find out how and when she died.
