46 students to receive 96 gold medals at KVAFSU

The Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU) will hold its 14th Convocation in Bidar on March 25. During the ceremony, 46 exceptional students will receive a total of 96 gold medals. KVAFSU Vice-Chancellor K.C. Veeranna shared details at a media conference. He noted that 35 of these gold medals are university awards while the other 61 are sponsored by various organizations. Winners include undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students. The gold medals will be presented by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, who is also the Chancellor of KVAFSU. In total, 634 students will receive their degrees, including 419 undergraduates, 187 postgraduates, and 28 Ph.D. recipients. However, only 127 students are expected to attend the event in person. Notable attendees will include Naveen Kumar, Director of the National Institute of Virology, and K. Venkatesh, Minister for Animal Husbandry and Sericulture. Other senior officials from the university will also be present.
