The San Francisco 49ers are reportedly interested in signing Jonathan Allen, a former defensive tackle for the Commanders. This follows their recent connection to Joey Bosa after his release from the Chargers. Allen's name surfaced during trade discussions involving wide receiver Deebo Samuel. The 49ers traded Samuel for a fifth-round pick but may still pursue Allen. The 49ers plan to release Javon Hargrave next week. They currently have Maliek Collins, Jordan Elliott, Evan Anderson, and Kalia Davis under contract at defensive tackle.
