57 criminals arrested in Tiruchi law enforcement operation

In Tiruchi, police have arrested 57 known offenders, also called history sheeters, in a week-long operation. This special drive was led by the Tiruchi Rural Police on the orders of Superintendent of Police, S. Selvanagarathinam. During the operation, 43 new cases were filed against those arrested. The police aimed to identify and take action against individuals involved in crime. They may also detain some of these offenders under the Goondas Act.
