59% of Punjab residents approve of CM Maryam Nawaz
A recent survey shows that 59% of Punjab residents approve of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's performance. Conducted by the Institute for Public Opinion Research, it included over 6,000 respondents from all 36 districts between February 3 and 18, 2025. The survey found that 62% of participants were satisfied with the provincial government's overall performance. Education received the highest approval, with 73% expressing satisfaction, followed by health at 68% and infrastructure at 66%. However, 63% of respondents were dissatisfied with job opportunities. Regarding governance compared to the previous year, 57% felt it had improved, while 36% believed the CM had failed to address public issues effectively.
