65-year-old man killed in family feud, north-west Delhi

A 65-year-old man was stabbed to death in northwest Delhi on Friday amid a fight between two families. The police reported that five other people were injured during the incident. The victim has been identified as Radhe Shyam. He is survived by his wife, Kamla Devi, and their three children. The clash occurred in a JJ colony in Wazirpur, after a dispute that began with children in the area escalated into violence among adults. Both families involved have been charged with murder, attempted murder, stone pelting, and assault. According to local reports, the fight turned dangerous when stones were thrown, leading to a physical assault. Kamla Devi expressed frustration about the lack of police support. She stated that they called the police multiple times but received no help. After the fight escalated, she locked her children inside for their safety. Tragically, Radhe Shyam was killed while trying to break up the fight. Police confirmed they received a call early in the day and thought the situation was resolved. However, issues flared up again in the evening. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhisham Singh, stated that a dispute had escalated into violence, leading to the injuries and Radhe Shyam's death. Legal action is underway, and arrests are expected soon.
