A24 to release Brady Corbet's historical film The Brutalist in December

A24 will release Brady Corbet's historical film, *The Brutalist*, on December 20. The 215-minute movie follows Hungarian-born architect László Tóth, who emigrates to the U.S. in 1947 and faces early struggles before finding success. The film features a cast including Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, and Joe Alwyn. It was shot in New York and Hungary, utilizing tax credits to manage costs. Corbet, who previously directed *Vox Lux*, faced financial challenges during production. He received the Silver Lion award for Best Director at the Venice Film Festival for this project.
