A2IM sells early bird tickets for Indie Week Australia
A2IM, the American Association of Independent Music, has launched early bird tickets for its first-ever Indie Week in Australia. This historic event will take place in Adelaide, South Australia, from July 30 to August 1. The Indie Week will be part of the annual Indie-Con Australia Conference, hosted by the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR). This marks a significant moment for A2IM, as it is the first time in 20 years that the organization is holding its flagship event outside the U.S. Lisa Hresko, A2IM's general manager, expressed excitement about bringing the event to Adelaide, a city recognized as a UNESCO City of Music. The conference aims to create a global hub for independent music, bringing together industry leaders to discuss future trends and challenges. The full agenda for the event will be released in June but will include notable speakers from previous years. Last year's Indie-Con featured over 80 speakers from around the world, including experts, independent artists, and representatives from various companies. The A2IM Indie Week will kick off on July 30, followed by the Indie-Con Conference on July 31 and August 1. The 2025 AIR Awards ceremony will also be held on July 31 at the Adelaide Town Hall. Tickets are available now, with AIR members priced at $249 AUD and non-members at $349 AUD.
