Aamir Khan admits to performance flaw in Dangal

Aamir Khan recently shared a moment from the filming of his hit movie Dangal. He discussed a mistake he made in the film during a screening at the Red Lorry Film Festival in Mumbai. This mistake was pointed out to him by the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Aamir said that in one scene, his character, Mahavir Singh Phogat, incorrectly says "Yes" after winning a match. He noted that Amitabh told him this gesture felt out of place, as a person from a rural background would not likely express excitement that way. Aamir admitted he regrets this slip but mentioned it was too late to remove the scene from the final edit. He emphasized that no performance can be perfect and mistakes are part of being human. Aamir also made headlines recently by introducing his new partner, Gauri, to the media ahead of his 60th birthday. This follows his divorce from Kiran Rao in 2021, after 16 years of marriage. Aamir and Kiran met while working on the Oscar-nominated film Lagaan.
