Aamir Khan produces new film Sitaare Zameen Par

Aamir Khan is currently working on a new film called Sitaare Zameen Par. This movie is inspired by the Spanish film Champions. It follows Khan's earlier success, Taare Zameen Par, which was released in 2007. Taare Zameen Par starred Darsheel Safary as Ishaan, a boy with dyslexia. The movie was popular and received critical acclaim, winning three National Film Awards. Khan played the role of Ram Shankar Nikumbh, an art teacher who helps Ishaan. Recently, the production house shared behind-the-scenes images from Taare Zameen Par. These photos show Aamir Khan directing and interacting with Darsheel. Fans can see the fun and creativity that went into making the film. In a quote, Khan recalls choosing Darsheel for the role, saying he recognized his talent right away. Sitaare Zameen Par will feature a similar theme of different abilities but with a humorous twist. Khan described it as a film that will make people laugh rather than cry. The film is set to star Aamir, Darsheel, and Genelia Deshmukh. It is being directed by RS Prasanna and was announced in October 2023.
