Aaron Goodwin sues ex-wife for negligence, false imprisonment
Aaron Goodwin, a star from Ghost Adventures, has filed a lawsuit against his estranged wife, Victoria Goodwin. This comes shortly after her arrest for allegedly trying to hire a hitman to kill him. In his amended divorce filing, Aaron accuses Victoria of negligence and false imprisonment, among other serious claims. The 48-year-old reality star is seeking more than $10,000 in damages. He argues that Victoria’s actions have caused him severe emotional distress. In court documents, Aaron mentions that Victoria's behavior made him feel unsafe and confined. Victoria, 32, was arrested for soliciting murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Police reports reveal she had been communicating with a convicted murderer serving life in prison for killing his family. Victoria allegedly began this relationship after watching a documentary about the killer. In his initial divorce filing, submitted on March 12, Aaron asked to keep his separate property and divide their community assets equally. He claims that Victoria was unhappy in their marriage, yet instead of filing for divorce, she sought violent solutions. Victoria has not publicly responded to the lawsuit or the allegations. Meanwhile, Aaron's colleagues on Ghost Adventures were reportedly shocked by the news, as they had no idea there were issues in his marriage. They are trying to support him during this difficult time. If you or anyone you know is facing domestic violence, help is available through the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.
