Abortion-rights groups raise nearly eight times more than opponents for November ballot measures
Abortion-rights groups have raised nearly $108 million for November ballot measures, outpacing opponents who have gathered about $14 million. This 8-to-1 fundraising advantage is evident in several states, including Missouri and Montana, where pro-amendment groups dominate ad spending. In Florida, abortion rights supporters have raised over $60 million, while opponents have collected $9 million. However, the state requires a 60% voter approval for the amendment, making the outcome uncertain despite the funding disparity. Nationally, abortion rights groups have more than 94,000 donors compared to fewer than 2,600 for opponents. Some major anti-abortion organizations have not significantly contributed this year, focusing instead on other political priorities.
