Abu Dhabi Police issue Eid visitor guidelines for temple

Abu Dhabi Police have announced new guidelines for visitors heading to the BAPS Hindu Mandir during the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holidays. With many people expected to visit, police and temple management want to help ensure a smooth experience for everyone. All visitors must register in advance using the "Mandir Abu Dhabi" app or website. This change is necessary due to high interest in the temple. Walk-in visitors without prior registration may not be allowed to enter because of space limitations. The temple has welcomed over 2.2 million visitors in its first year, showing its importance to the community. Last year during Eid, the lack of a booking system caused issues with crowd management. To improve the experience, the Mandir has expanded parking and created shaded waiting areas. Visitors should arrive early and follow all guidelines for a peaceful visit. The temple will be open from 9 am to 8 pm, with the last entry allowed by 8 pm. It will be closed on Mondays, and a complete list of visitor guidelines can be found on the temple's website.
