ACT Group appoints John Davis as APAC Managing Director
ACT Group has appointed John Davis as the new Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific region. This move aims to boost the company's growth and improve environmental impact in the fast-developing market. Davis has over 20 years of experience in sustainability. He recently served as the Interim CEO of South Pole, where he successfully led a major restructuring and funding effort. He has also held various leadership positions at South Pole, focusing on expanding operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Colin Crooks, the CEO of ACT Group, expressed excitement about Davis joining the team. He believes Davis's background in carbon finance and emissions trading will greatly benefit ACT's mission to offer innovative environmental solutions. Davis is also looking forward to his new role. He will be moving from Sydney to Singapore, which he considers a vital hub for the global energy sector's shift towards a more sustainable future. He emphasized his eagerness to work with the ACT team to make a positive impact in the region. Davis replaces Federico Di Credico, who opened ACT’s Singapore office in 2022 and is now the Global Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer. ACT Group continues to expand, having recently opened a new office in Tokyo to strengthen its global presence in environmental solutions.
