Adnan Sami hopes to perform at Nizamuddin Dargah
Singer and composer Adnan Sami recently performed at a packed hall in Delhi, where he expressed his gratitude for the warm response from the city's audience. He described Delhiites as passionate and large-hearted, making every performance an incredible experience for him. Despite fasting during Ramzan, Sami said the energy from the audience kept him energized throughout the show. He mentioned how the audience reacted enthusiastically when he took the stage, which fueled his excitement. Interacting with fans is important to him, and he feels a strong bond with them. Before the concert, Sami enjoyed a variety of delicious foods from Old Delhi during iftar. He mentioned indulging in keema kulchas, samosas, and malpua, as well as kebabs and Bengali Market chaat. His love for the city's cuisine adds to his connection with Delhi. One dream that remains unfulfilled for Sami is to perform at the Nizamuddin Dargah. He expressed a desire to sing there spontaneously in the future, viewing it as a significant honor. Outside of music, Sami finds joy in sharing his performances with his seven-year-old daughter, Medina. She often engages playfully with his shows, making the experience even more special for him.
