Adrien Brody aims for Oscar comeback with role in 'The Brutalist'
Adrien Brody is gaining attention for his role in the upcoming film "The Brutalist," where he plays architect László Toth. This performance has positioned him as a strong contender for a second Oscar nomination for Best Lead Actor. Brody previously won the Oscar in 2003 for "The Pianist," making him the youngest lead actor winner in history. If he wins again, he would be the only actor with two lead Oscars from just two nominations. In 2015, Brody received Emmy and SAG nominations for his portrayal of Harry Houdini and was part of the SAG ensemble nomination for "The Grand Budapest Hotel." He could join a select group of actors with multiple Oscars.
