Advance Metals discovers visible gold at Myrtleford, Victoria

Advance Metals has reported promising results from its drilling activities at the Myrtleford project in Victoria. The company found visible gold in three drill holes at the Happy Valley prospect, which is located about 290 kilometers northeast of Melbourne. The drilling program began in February and has already shown good results. The first hole revealed visible gold, while the second and third holes also found significant amounts. This visible gold is located within quartz veins associated with sulphides and appears in multiple zones at various depths. Drill hole two, for example, encountered visible gold at depths related to a previous high-grade intercept from another company. Hole three, drilled 15 meters away, also yielded strong visible gold findings, suggesting the gold system extends westward. Advance Metals' managing director, Dr. Adam McKinnon, expressed optimism about the project, noting that all three holes have produced encouraging gold mineralization. The company plans to analyze the drilling results further and is focused on exploring the extended gold trends in the area. In addition to the Myrtleford project, Advance Metals has secured an agreement to acquire an 80% stake in the Beaufort gold project, also in Victoria. This project, which has a history of alluvial gold mining, offers additional exploration potential due to its location near well-known gold fields. With gold prices rising significantly, Advance Metals aims to capitalize on this trend as it continues its exploration efforts in Victoria's rich goldfields.
