The incident took place on Monday evening in the Trans Yamuna area of Agra. Sandeep Sharma, 40, was drunk when he committed the crime. Afterward, he turned himself in at the local police station. According to police reports, Gunjan was 37 years old and had been married to Sandeep since 2003. They had two sons, aged 17 and 12. The victim's mother, Jayarani, stated that Gunjan and Sandeep's relationship had worsened due to his affair with Gunjan's sister. This cheating led to many arguments in their marriage. In related news, police also arrested a woman and her lover for the murder of her husband in Agra. Additionally, six family members were detained for poisoning a 25-year-old woman over dowry issues.
