AI model detects endometrial cancer with 99.26% accuracy
A new AI model developed by researchers from multiple universities can detect endometrial cancer with 99.26% accuracy. This is a significant improvement over the current automated diagnosis accuracy of about 78.91% to 80.93%. The model, named ECgMLP, analyzes histopathological images to enhance quality and identify key areas in tissue samples. It has also shown high accuracy in diagnosing other cancers, including colorectal, breast, and oral cancers. The research suggests that this AI model could improve clinical processes and assist doctors in making better decisions for cancer diagnosis.
