AIADMK leaders must unite for 2026 elections
O. Panneerselvam, a former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, urged AIADMK leaders to set aside their differences and unite for the 2026 Assembly elections. He emphasized the party's historical support and welfare contributions to society. Panneerselvam highlighted the current division within the AIADMK and called for an end to this fragmentation. He stated that unity is essential for the party's success in the upcoming elections. Regarding a recent ₹1,000 crore scam involving Tasmac, he noted that revenue was previously used for welfare schemes under former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. He criticized the current government's handling of Tasmac funds but refrained from commenting on internal party disputes.
