AIADMK offers prizes for vote-winning party members
Coimbatore: The AIADMK party has announced rewards for its members who help secure votes in the upcoming assembly elections. Former minister S P Velumani made this announcement during a meeting in Coimbatore. He urged party workers to put in their best efforts to win all assembly constituencies in the area. Velumani feels the public is ready to reject the current DMK government and wants the AIADMK, led by Edappadi K Palaniswami, back in power. He highlighted that the AIADMK has previously implemented many beneficial projects for the community. According to him, the DMK has made false promises and is losing public support. He also raised concerns about increasing cases of sexual harassment and drug-related issues in the state. Velumani noted that many people are now turning to the AIADMK for help. He expressed confidence that the party would regain control in the state by 2026. Velumani reminded members that the AIADMK had recently won 10 assembly seats in Coimbatore. He encouraged party workers to review voter details by booth. He criticized the police for gathering information about AIADMK officials, stating this was not their responsibility. Instead of targeting AIADMK members, he believes police should focus on real crime, such as drug trafficking.
