Aidric Chan wins first pro title in Vietnam
Filipino golfer Aidric Chan celebrated his first professional victory on Friday. He won the Lexus Challenge title at the Asian Development Tour event held at The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram in Vietnam. Chan edged out seasoned golfer Juvic Pagunsan and two international players for the win. Chan scored an impressive four-under-par 67, finishing with a crucial par on the final hole. His total score for the tournament was 205. Pagunsan, along with Filip Lundell from Sweden and Sam Broadhurst from England, followed closely but fell short by just one stroke. "I feel really great," Chan said after his victory. He previously finished in the Top 10 at the Philippine Open just two months ago. This win marks the first international title for a Filipino golfer since Miguel Tabuena's success in New Delhi two years ago. During the final round, Chan made an eagle on the 14th hole. Pagunsan struggled with two consecutive bogeys starting from the 13th hole, which allowed Chan to take the lead and secure the win.
