AIFF rules Kerala Blasters acted correctly with Lagator

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has confirmed that Kerala Blasters will not face penalties for using Dusan Lagator in a match. NorthEast United FC had argued that Lagator should not have played due to a prior suspension from his former club in Hungary. Lagator played as a substitute during the goalless draw against NorthEast in Kochi. He completed his suspension in the next game against East Bengal. Despite NorthEast's complaint to FIFA, AIFF stated there was no wrongdoing from either Kerala Blasters or the federation. AIFF secretary general P Anilkumar emphasized that their records show no violation. The dispute was described by FIFA as a national issue concerning player eligibility within the AIFF's competitions.
