Aiken Adult Egg Hunt offers prizes and entertainment
The Aiken Adult Egg Hunt is set to take place on Saturday, April 5. This new event is organized by the Aiken Standard. It welcomes individuals aged 21 and older to join in the fun. Participants can buy tickets to search for colorful eggs filled with candy and prizes. There will be around 200 prizes donated by local businesses. The event will kick off at 11 a.m. at Good Girl Brewing Co., located on Banks Mill Road. Ticket prices vary: $20 for the Jackrabbit level, which allows access at 11 a.m.; $15 for the Cotton Tail level, starting at 11:30 a.m.; and $10 for the Golden Bunny level, beginning at noon. A total of about 2,100 eggs will be hidden, and each participant can collect up to seven eggs. Randy Mitchell, the publisher of the Aiken Standard, noted that the idea came from a similar event run by The Post and Courier in Charleston, which has been successful for years. This egg hunt is part of a series of community events organized by the Aiken Standard, including music festivals and health expos. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and several vendors will be present at the event. Cattleman Roofing is the presenting sponsor, with Vikki’s ... A Unique Boutique also sponsoring.
