Aina and Iwobi share a double bed in Nigeria

Premier League players Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi are currently with the Nigeria national team for World Cup qualifiers. The two discovered they would be sharing a bed in their hotel room, leading to some humorous moments. Aina recorded their reactions when they realized they would sleep in a double bed. In a video shared online, he joked, “Alex, don’t kiss me, do not kiss me,” as Iwobi inspected their accommodation. The Nigeria team, coached by Eric Chelle, has matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe lined up in this international break. Currently, Nigeria is fifth in their World Cup qualifying group after having three draws and one loss in their first four games. Although they are struggling, Nigeria is only four points behind group leaders Rwanda. The team has six matches left to play. The group winner qualifies directly for the World Cup next summer, while the best four runners-up will have a chance to enter playoffs. Aina and Iwobi have been teammates for a long time and have played together 38 times for Nigeria since 2017. They are among five Premier League players in the squad this month, hoping to help Nigeria reach the World Cup after missing out on the last tournament in 2022.
