Air crews rescue 84-year-old man in Florida marsh

An 84-year-old man was rescued in the Fort Drum Marsh area of Florida after getting lost. He had gone out to take photographs in the conservation area but became disoriented, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Rescue crews were dispatched to find him. They worked alongside teams from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office and Brevard County Fire Rescue. Video footage shows the man being lifted into a rescue helicopter. After the successful operation, he was taken to a local hospital. The sheriff’s office emphasized the collaboration among emergency teams in ensuring the man’s safe recovery.
