Al Jalila Foundation launches Ramadan campaign for children

Al Jalila Foundation has launched a Ramadan campaign to support its Child Fund, which provides crucial medical care for children in need. This campaign aims to ease the financial burden on families seeking healthcare for their children. The Child Fund was established in November 2023 and aims to offer essential healthcare services at Al Jalila Children's Hospital. The goal is to provide high-quality care to 3,000 children every year with the help of a specialized medical team and advanced technology. In conjunction with the Year of Community, the foundation has teamed up with Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) to set up smart donation boxes at service stations. This will allow customers to donate to the Child Fund throughout the year. Dr. Amer Al Zarooni, the CEO of Al Jalila Foundation, thanked partners and donors for their support. He emphasized that the community's efforts are making a positive impact on children's lives. He stated that every child deserves access to good medical care, regardless of their family's financial situation. People can donate through various channels, including the foundation’s website, crowdfunding program, and SMS donations by texting "hope" to different numbers provided by local mobile networks.
