Al Tadawi 1 wins NAS volleyball championship in Dubai
Al Tadawi 1 won the volleyball championship at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament in Dubai. They defeated Al Hilal in the final with a score of 3-0, winning each set decisively. The match took place at a crowded indoor stadium on Thursday night, with Al Tadawi 1 showcasing strong skills throughout the game. The tournament is held annually during Ramadan at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex. It was initiated and supported by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The event promotes competitive spirit under the slogan 'Unlimited Abilities.' In addition to volleyball, the padel competition concluded with several winners. Pablo Arriber and Cesar Freire took first place in the men's category. Babette De Decker and Aisha Al Awadhi won the women's title, while Majed Al Janahi and Fares Al Janahi emerged victorious in another men's event. In the under-18 category, Rashid Waleed and Saif Al Hammadi came out on top. The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services also won the wheelchair basketball title, defeating Dubai Municipality 43-28. This year's tournament featured over 8,000 athletes participating in 11 sports, including jiu-jitsu, cycling, and obstacle courses. The prize fund for the winners was raised to a record Dh4.5 million.
