ALAFIA AI unveils AIVAS supercomputer that cuts medical imaging time to 30 seconds

ALAFIA AI has introduced AIVAS, a powerful medical supercomputer that reduces imaging time from up to 30 minutes to just 30 seconds. This advancement was revealed at CES 2025 and aims to enhance AI workflows in healthcare. AIVAS operates at over 1,000 trillion operations per second and features 128 CPU cores and 28,416 GPU cores. It efficiently supports a wide range of medical applications while consuming only 700 watts of energy. Early users, including Stanford Medical School, report significant time savings in tasks like imaging analysis. AIVAS is designed to help healthcare professionals process large volumes of data more effectively, improving diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency.
