Recently, Bastian shared her good news on Instagram, expressing her relief and joy. She will now focus on preventative treatment after completing her active cancer care. She looks forward to returning to acting, stating that being on set is her "happy place." Bastian and her partner moved to west Cork last year. She expressed excitement about the creative opportunities in Ireland and hopes to work on independent films. She is eager to explore the acting scene and contribute to the artistic community there.
