Alienware reintroduces Area-51 desktop and laptop with larger designs for Nvidia GPUs
Alienware is reintroducing its Area-51 desktop and laptop lineup, featuring a larger design to accommodate Nvidia's latest GPUs. The new laptops offer high-performance options, including Intel Core Ultra processors and Nvidia's 50-series graphics, starting at around $2,000. The Area-51 desktop is significantly larger, designed to house GPUs up to 450mm long. It will be available in early 2025, with a starting price of $4,500. The desktop features a unique cooling system that claims to run 13% cooler than traditional setups. Both products reflect Alienware's shift in design, combining classic aesthetics with modern functionality. The laptops include a see-through window to showcase internal components, while the desktop offers extra drive space and powerful power supply options.
