Aliquippa defeats Forest Hills, ending their historic season
Aliquippa defeated Forest Hills 73-34 in the PIAA Class 3A quarterfinals, ending Forest Hills' historic season. The Rangers had their best year, winning their first District 6 title in 30 years and reaching the state quarterfinals for the first time. Aliquippa's strong start included an 18-0 run, leading 22-6 after the first quarter. The Quips maintained control throughout the game, with Josh Pratt scoring 27 points and Qa'lil Goode adding 25. Forest Hills finished the season with a 25-3 record. They will return three starters next year, including sophomore Dylan Stohon, who scored 15 points in the game. The team looks forward to building on their playoff experience.
