All-inclusive resorts now welcome solo travelers too
All-inclusive, adults-only resorts are becoming popular not only for couples but for all types of travelers. These destinations offer relaxation, adventure, and indulgence. Many people think of these resorts as places for romantic getaways, but they also attract solo travelers and groups. Nicole Tilzer from Hilton's All-Inclusive & Resort Strategy noted that these resorts are perfect for milestone celebrations like birthdays or bachelor parties. They also suit business meetings, providing a calm environment without children. While some resorts cater primarily to couples, such as Sandals, solo travelers can still enjoy the experience. They may need to pay extra for a single occupancy, but new room options are being introduced to accommodate friends traveling together. An all-inclusive resort means that lodging, meals, drinks, and many activities are included in the price. For example, Sandals offers various amenities like free scuba diving and airport transfers. Club Med provides activities such as sailing and kayaking. Hilton focuses on local cultural experiences, enhancing the guest experience. Airfare is usually not included in the package price but can be added when booking. Tipping practices vary, with many all-inclusive resorts incorporating tips into the cost. Guests often appreciate this, as they don't have to worry about extra costs during their stay. Pricing for all-inclusive resorts can differ greatly by location and choices. Many guests find the overall value appealing. More than 40% of Sandals' guests return for additional stays, demonstrating their dedication to providing a memorable experience.
