Allan and Donna Schoeberlein have passed away and are now together again. Allan died on November 19, 2024, from a fall, while Donna passed away from lung cancer on March 4, 2025. Allan was born on March 19, 1931, and Donna was born on July 19, 1934. They married on November 19, 1953, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Aurora. Allan worked as a sheet metal worker at Reinken Engineering and later as a technician at Fermi Lab. He was also a member of the Illinois National Guard. Donna worked as a Dictaphone Transcriber at Farmers Insurance, ran a ceramics business, and worked in Medical Records at Copley Hospital. The couple were long-time members of Claim St. Baptist Church, which is now Morning Star Community Church. They recently attended Gospel City Church. They loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed vacations in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Donna was passionate about quilting and participated in various church activities, while Allan was known for his handyman skills. Allan and Donna are survived by their four children, multiple grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They also leave behind Donna's sister, Carolyn. The family is grateful for the care provided by Lori and the staff at Divine Hospice. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, at Gospel City Church in Aurora. The service will begin at 12:00 pm.
