Allen Park man charged with child pornography possession

An Allen Park man is facing charges after a family member found child pornography on his phone. Timothy Chitwood, a registered sex offender, had several videos on his cell phone. The family member reported the findings to the police on July 16, 2024. In Macomb County, SWAT team officers successfully arrested a suspect linked to a shooting at Troy Corewell hospital. Lieutenant Gary Wiegand said they identified the shooter as a Macomb Township resident, which helped them act quickly.
